Virtual course via Zoom, so accessible from anywhere in the world.
October 2nd, 16th & 30th 2023 @ 7pm GMT.
Unleash your creativity, Write your memoir.
Do you have a fascinating family story that you yearn to tell? Would you love to write a memoir but just aren’t sure how to begin?
I can help. In my three-part online course, I will get you started, keep you going, share tools and approaches to improve your writing practice, enrich your work and love the process. You will work with me as part of an intimate Zoom memoir group of like-minded souls, sharing experiences, challenges, inspiration and results.
Writing can and should be a joyous, enriching, expressive, freeing experience. When you work with me you will feel full of zest and inspiration. Feelings of “stuckness” can create an aura of difficulty and stress. The opposite of “flow.” In this course I will guide you to this flow state which is a joy in itself AND it streams out to enrich our wider life too.

I am a global best-selling writer of fiction, nonfiction and memoir (further details can be found on my website), as well as a fully certified Jungian Life Coach specialising in accessing your inner creativity.
In this course, I will use both skillsets to teach you valuable, actionable writing skills, and psychological approaches which will unleash your creativity. Writing begins with accessing and guiding our inner creativity. This is where my training and experience as a Jungian life coach comes in. I can help you access and channel that creativity so that not only will you be able to embark on your story but LOVE the process.

In this course, I will help you:
- Identify and transcend any blocks that are keeping you stuck.
- Share technical tools on how to get started, including honing your intention in writing your book, crystallising the themes, cultivating the emotions that bring vibrancy to your words, and conceptualising the path you would like to take
- Cover the physical world and sense of occasion and place, utilising objects, photographs, and talismans of life to enrich your narrative.
- Explore synaesthesia and how it can enrich and add colour to your writing (and life!).
- Work with the conscious and unconscious mind, and also the collective unconscious, to create a mindset which will enable you to access and revel in your creativity.
I will also share a Creativity Meditation to spark your inner muse.
This course will be the catalyst for you to start and progress with your writing.

Feedback from previous workshop participants:
“I can’t tell you how much help Linda has been to me this past term. She was the first person outside of family to read my writing and has been so encouraging, honest, and constructive. She took the time to read often-lengthy segments of my work, always with sharp and thorough comments, and every thought she had on it made me a stronger writer. She also gave me vital advice regarding agents and the publishing world, which came at the perfect and most critical time for me. Linda has been a true mentor to me this term and I know I will be in touch with her for many years to come. I am so incredibly grateful to the college for supporting her time here, which in doing so has encouraged my most treasured hope to one day be a writer like her.”

““Linda Davies’ writing course offers a clear, concise account of the way in which she writes, and provides tips and hints on how to get past the obstacles that seem to stand in the way of would-be writers.
Creative Director, advertising agency, dubai
Her comments on plotting and characterisation are pithy and to the point, well illustrated by anecdotes from her own writing life. Linda treats every participant in the course with equal respect, giving carefully considered opinions and advice on work created during the evening.
Informative, entertaining – and inspiring – her class is well worth attending, whatever your writing ambitions or achievements.”
